Nathan’s 38 year career has taken him from coast to coast, north to south and straight into the hearts of thousands of people he helped overcome addiction.

Fear’s journey began at the University of Arizona where he graduated with BA in Counseling Psychology and Correctional Administration and he hasn’t looked back. Throughout his career Nathan has helped addicted teens and adults, their families, troubled youths, and people with mental health disorders, He has held impressive positions in hospitals, treatment centers and penal facilities such as CEO, COO, Program Director, Clinical Director, Recovery Coach, Counselor, Interventionist and Assistant Warden at the Arizona Boys Ranch Correctional Facility.

However, with all of these remarkable accomplishments, Nathan will be the first one to tell you that his greatest reward can be seen in the healthy and smiling faces of the people he has touched.

Responsible for management of 66 bed facility, preparation and successful completion of JCAHO survey and State Accreditation survey.  Clinical training of all department heads and front line staff. Developed yearly budgets, policies and procedures.

Restructured and implemented Adolescent Behavioral Health program servicing severe oppositional defiant and dual diagnosis adolescents. Provided direct training to all divisions of patient care. Developed, implemented, supervised and marketed therapy services for over 400 adolescents and families. Consultant for television movie and book related to crack-cocaine addiction. Developed the initial Dual Diagnosis Program for acute adolescents in Minnesota. Program used as boiler plate for programs nationwide.

Developed, implemented programs and managed correctional facility for 120 acute adjudicated males aged 12 to 21. Program related concepts included: management, addiction and criminal behavior, gang involvement and criminal behavior, victimization and criminal behavior, family generational criminal behavior.
